ICAO Photo Studio ("we", "us", the "Service") provides browser-based tools — the Passport Studio, Background Remover, and Portrait Enhancer — that use AI face detection and image processing to help you produce a passport, visa, or ID photo that follows the sizing and background rules of a chosen document standard.
Our tool automates 9 of the 10 ICAO compliance checks and auto-corrects common issues like head tilt, lighting, and background colour. These automated checks are indicative only. Final acceptance of any photo is always at the sole discretion of the relevant passport, visa, or ID issuing authority. We make no representation or warranty — express or implied — that a photo produced using this Service will be accepted by any government agency, embassy, consulate, or other authority, and we are not responsible for rejected applications, delays, or any resulting loss.
Paying the one-time ₹29 fee through Razorpay unlocks unlimited, watermark-free use of the Passport Studio, Background Remover, and Portrait Enhancer tools, indefinitely, on the browser/device where payment was completed. This is a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service — it is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges.
Important limitation: access is recorded locally in your browser's storage, not tied to an account. If you clear your browser's site data, use a private/incognito window, uninstall your browser, or switch to a different browser or device, your unlocked access will be lost and you would need to pay again to unlock it there. We are working on account-based access for a future update, but as of today access is local-storage only — we want to be upfront about this before you pay.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-based detection and corrections will be perfectly accurate for every photo.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ICAO Photo Studio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of time, data, goodwill, or a rejected passport/visa/ID application, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (₹29), if any.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
